Louisville, Kentucky has been hit hard by the dog flu and we feel it would be irresponsible to hold an event designed to bring so many dogs together. We made the difficult decision to cancel Dog Day at Douglass Loop this year.

We will still hold a pet food drive to benefit My Dog Eats First. MDEF provides food, vet care and support to the pets of Louisville’s homeless population.

Throughout the month of August Homeward Bound Mobile Vet will be at the market giving flu shots for $25, no appointment necessary. Check our facebook page for dates and hours.

We would love to see you but for the safety of your dogs, please leave them at home until they are fully vaccinated. Thank you for your support!
